I think the pictures speak for themselves. We ripped out the old kitchen cabinets yesterday. If I didn't like cooking in that kitchen before I had the new one I really wouldn't have wanted to after I watched 30 years of dirt, dust, and mouse poop fall to the floor. It's amazing what can collect under, behind, and above cabinets. YUCK!
Already the room looks better just being open. There is more work to be done. And we are moving forward. I can't wait to see it all done.
